Account privacy

When you choose Google sign-in, C47 Academy receives your Google account identifier, name, verified email address and profile picture. We use these to create your account and recognise you when you return.

Account details and session records are stored using Cloudflare. A secure, HTTP-only cookie keeps you signed in for up to seven days. A temporary sign-in cookie expires after ten minutes. We do not store your Google password or retain Google access or refresh tokens.

When you get a free guide, we save the guide identifier, order date and zero-dollar total in your account. We use your verified email to send the download link and order confirmation through Resend. Course videos, PDFs and other downloadable materials are stored privately in Cloudflare R2.

When you buy a course on C47 Academy, Stripe processes your payment. We store your selected package, order amount, payment identifiers and payment status to provide access to the correct materials and handle refunds or disputes. We do not receive or store your full card number. Order confirmation emails are sent through Resend to the purchase email saved with your order.

You can buy a course without Google sign-in. We save the purchase email and use a separate secure, HTTP-only checkout cookie for up to seven days to recognise that browser when it returns from payment. This cookie does not grant access to course files.

For purchases made without Google, we email a one-time access link that expires after 24 hours. Confirming the link verifies your email and creates or signs you into an email-only account. You can request another link from the account page. You may also connect the purchase to a Google account by signing in with the same verified email. Purchase email links cannot sign you into an existing Google account or the administrator account.

The course player stores your latest playback position with your C47 account in Cloudflare so you can continue on another device. It also keeps a temporary browser backup when storage is available, including unsynced progress during connection problems. This records where playback stopped, not a complete history of which footage you watched. Playback positions are private to your account and are removed when the account is deleted. Your cart and checkout progress also use browser storage.

Paid-course checkout offers a separate, optional consent for one unfinished purchase reminder after 24 hours. It is unchecked by default and does not subscribe you to a newsletter. We save the consent version and time, selected order and hashed recipient identifier to prevent duplicates. You can unsubscribe without signing in, and the reminder link cannot grant course access. Signing in does not subscribe you to promotional emails. Course purchases on Gumroad are not automatically imported into this account.

To request deletion of your C47 account or ask a privacy question, use the support button on this site and select “Other”, or contact @c47.prod. Include the account email so we can verify your request.
